SHIRLEYSBURG -- The second annual Fall for Mount Union Community Fest will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Mount Union Airport in Shirleysburg.
The event, organized by the Willow + Well Foundation, is free to attend, with most children's activities also available at no charge.
Activities will include a petting zoo, bounce houses, a hay and corn play area, arts and crafts, face painting and games. The festival will also feature food trucks, craft vendors and a community yard sale.
Jewels of the Desert, an Egyptian belly dancing troupe from Huntingdon, will perform at 1 p.m.
Organizers brought the festival back for a second year following the turnout for last year's inaugural event.
The Mount Union Fire Company donated use of the venue. Sponsors and supporters include The Spennati Family, Keshia's Kreations, Patriot Disposal, Shannon Covert, Hockenberry Event Rentals, Community State Bank and Renewal by Andersen.
Food and merchandise from vendors will be available for purchase separately.
