LEWISTOWN -- The Derry Township Board of Supervisors met Monday and set the township's trick-or-treat night for 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Residents who want to participate will turn on their porch lights at 6 p.m. and welcome trick-or-treaters.
During the board meeting, Derry Township supervisors also approved a subdivision plan from Bill Wright of Wright Surveying to split a parcel into two lots for home construction.
Supervisors approved advertising a data center ordinance; residents can view it on Monday, Nov. 16.
Supervisors approved a park use application for Mifflin County Middle School to hold its annual science field trip at Kish Park on Wednesday, Oct. 28 and Thursday, Oct. 29.
The Derry Township Board of Supervisors will meet next at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, at the Derry Township Office in Lewistown.
