MIDDLEBURG -- SUMMIT Early Learning will host its annual Touch a Truck event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Midd-West High School.
The free community event will give children an up-close look at trucks, emergency and service vehicles, construction equipment and other vehicles.
Activities will also include barrel car rides, pedal cars, crafts, balloon creations and an appearance by SUMMIT's Poppy the Kangaroo. Community organizations will offer activities and information for parents and caregivers.
Admission and children's activities are free. Low-cost lunch and snack items will be available for purchase.
The event is open to families and children of all ages.
