CLEARFIELD -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced the following schedule of maintenance activities in Mifflin and Juniata Counties the week of Sept. 7.
Mifflin County
Bridge maintenance and cleaning
Route 22 between the Route 22 Business exit in Granville Township and the Route 322 interchange in Derry Township. Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures while this work is completed.
Route 322 at a bridge spanning Laurel Creek in Armagh Township. Tuesday, Sept. 8. PennDOT will implement single-lane closures while this work is completed.
Pipe replacing and cleaning
Route 522 between the Mifflin-Snyder County line and Guss Road in Decatur Township. Wednesday, Sept. 9, through Friday, Sept.11. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Route 1002 (New Lancaster Valley Road) between Lower Blue Rock Lane and Lower Walnut Lane in Armagh Township. Tuesday, Sept. 8. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Shoulder maintenance
Route 22 between the Huntingdon-Mifflin County line and Pine Hill Road in Wayne Township. Thursday, Sept. 10, and Friday, Sept. 11. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
All of Route 3007 (Wakefield Road) in Oliver Township. Friday, Sept. 11. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle. When encountering a pilot vehicle with a "Pilot Car Follow Me" sign mounted on the rear and a revolving yellow light, drivers must remain behind it until it has left the roadway. Do not pass.
Juniata County
Bridge maintenance and cleaning
Route 75 at a bridge spanning a tributary of Tuscarora Creek between Fisher Lane and Heckman Station Road in Tuscarora Township. Tuesday, Sept. 8, and Wednesday, Sept. 9. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Route 2010 (Black Dog Road) at a bridge spanning a tributary of Cocolamus Creek approximately two miles southeast of Cocolamus in Delaware Township. Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11. PennDOT has implemented a detour using Route 2015 (Ehrenzeller Road), Route 2012 (Leister Valley Road), and Route 2017 (Evendale Hille Road).
Joint and crack seal and hot pour mastic
Route 35 between Route 3017 (Academia Road) in Beale Township and Route 3002 (Main Street) in Fermanagh Township. Wednesday, Sept. 9, through Friday, Sept. 11. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Route 333 between Paradise Timbers Lane in Walker Township and Colyer Street in Thompsontown Borough. Tuesday, Sept. 8. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
