In the morning worship at Pine Glen Church of Brethren on Sunday, September 20, 2026, a friendly welcome to each of you to our worship service today! May the Lord open your hearts and minds today and every day. Worship leader Sarah Esh welcomed everyone. The announcements were asked for. Den Yoder played the Prelude, "Grace Like Rain," with the congregation singing along. The joys and concerns were asked for. The congregation sang a Prayer Hymn "Into my heart". The Worship Leader provided the Morning Prayer, followed by the Lord's Prayer and the Doxology. Scripture was Matthew 20: 1-16. Pastor Connie Maclay brought the morning message, "Good News!". The choral benediction was "A man owned a vineyard," sung to the tune of "To God be the glory".
In the morning worship at McVeytown Presbyterian church on September 20, 2026, the service started with this is a day of new beginnings, welcome and the sharing of the joy. The Prelude was played. Call to Worship was heard. The congregation sang hymns, "Fill My Cup". Prayer was heard. The congregation sang the prayer hymn "Change my heart, O God". Pastoral Prayer was heard, followed by the Lord's Prayer. The congregation sang a hymn, "Breathe on Me, Breath of God". Scripture was Ephesians 2: 11-22 and John 4: 5-24. The sermon was Giving up our right to be right". The service continues with the call for the offering, followed by Doxology and prayer of dedication. The congregation sang "We've a story to tell the Nations". The benediction was given. A choral benediction was sung "Amen". The postlude was played.
