STATE COLLEGE -- Kish Bancorp Inc., the parent company of Kish Bank, has appointed Gary Seiber as the next chief executive officer of Kish Insurance, the bank’s property and casualty insurance subsidiary.
Seiber will succeed current CEO Jeff Wilson as part of a planned leadership transition ahead of Wilson’s expected retirement in 2027.
The transition will take place over the coming months, with Seiber, Wilson and the Kish Insurance team working together to transfer knowledge and relationships and ensure continuity for clients and business partners.
"Gary's arrival supports an important leadership transition for Kish Insurance," said Gregory T. Hayes, president and CEO of Kish Bancorp. "This transition reflects our commitment to thoughtful succession planning and positions Kish Insurance for continued success long into the future."
Seiber brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a background in commercial insurance, business development and team leadership. Most recently, he served as first vice president and commercial insurance producer at Alliant Insurance Services.
Before joining Alliant, Seiber held leadership positions with Strickler Insurance Agency, Engle-Hambright & Davies and Nationwide Insurance.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Shippensburg University.
Hayes said Seiber’s experience in developing client relationships and insurance teams will help support Kish Insurance’s continued growth.
Wilson is expected to remain with the company during the transition before retiring in 2027.
