Greetings to all who read. Is everyone ready for autumn? The first day of autumn is tomorrow.
Usually over Equinox it’s rainy and cloudy. We are wet, or is it wet? Lush green grass, hayfields and pastures. Corn is ready to harvest some of it. Some fields look green, yet. Likely organic.
David and Katie Swarey and family have now moved into their new house. They are likely glad to have more room for their growing family. The old house was pushed down on Saturday and taken away to be burned. Now take the foundation away, yet fill it up and sow grass.
Nephew Nathan and Katie Peachey also moved to their property they recently purchased along 655 not far from David and Katie Swarey and other Amish. I don’t have their new address.
Reports are Sally C. Peachey, 63, had a stroke yesterday and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. I haven’t heard how she is going or how it affected her. Her brother Jesse, 66, who is hand-clapped and live together, has daily caretakers to help them. They’d likely enjoy mail at 61 Huey Street, Allenville, PA 17002.
Amos Swarey had a mishap working in the woods and received a broken arm. Then my nephew Wilmer Peachey also had a mishap when the cabin saw he was using kicked and cut a gash into his foot. Now he’s also off work. Get well soon!
On Friday afternoon, I went to Sinking Valley with Ezra and Anna Swarey and daughter Sylvia, Fannie and Julia Peachey. We went to John and Naomi Swarey where Katie L. Peachey is at present. Supper was taken along. I greatly enjoyed the evening and had lots to tell mother when I came home. She was already in bed, but awake. Elmers had been at home so I felt alright to go.
A daughter, Maria, was born Sept. 12 to Omar and Ariann Peachey. Grandparents are Daniel and Nancy Peachey of the greenhouse and Louie and Malinda Kanagy. Greats are Mrs. Emma Kanagy, Mrs. Lomie Peachey, Dan R. and Mattie Peachey, and Samuel and Mary Kanagy. A daughter, Nary, was born on the 13th to Emanuel and Fannie Peachey. Grandparents are Omar and Malinda Peachey and Eam and Mary Kanagy. Greats are Omar and Gertie Peahey and Stephen Kanagy.
Callers here on the 15th were Mrs. Korie Annie Yoder and their daughter Henry Anna Kanagy and four little girls. They’d come to see the twins in the other house since Henry’s also have twins.
My sisters were here that day too.
Wishing the sick and caretakers strength for each new day. Happy birthday to Daniel Katie on the 27th.
