Sadie Peachey
Greetings to all this damp, cloudy morning. Not raining much yet, but it feels humid. Are you all ready to turn the page to September, which is tomorrow? How can it be? But time moves just like it always has.
It’s already been two years since our mommy Katie isn’t here.
I just came over from visiting Noah, Sylvia, and taking a look at the twins. Baby Elmer could go home from the hospital on Tuesday evening, the 25th. As far as I know, they are doing well. A blessing indeed.
Another birth to report is daughter Hannah on Aug. 29 to Thomas and Mary Kanagy, joining 5 brothers and two sisters. Grandparents are Aquilla and Susie and Bennie and Lizzie Kanagys. Great-grandparents are Samuel and Mary Kanagy and my mother, Mollie R. Peachey. Baby Hannah has a good start at 9 pounds.
Visitors here last week on Tuesday were brother Jonas and sister Gertie.
Sunday callers were Bennies, Elmers and John and Katie. A son, Jeremiah, on Aug. 21, to Leroy and Rhoda Peachey. Grandparents are Sylvanus and Barbara Peachey and John and Salinda Byler. Great-grandparents are Elias and Lydia, Ben R. and Susie, Mrs. Barbara, all Peachey’s, and John and Annie Byler.
Best wishes to all.
