Summer Fest takes over Heritage on Saturday

LEWISTOWN -- The Honorary Wrestling Federation's biggest event of the year will be held at the Heritage Volunteer Fire Co., located at 218 S. Main St., Lewistown, on Saturday as Summer Fest takes center stage.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the first bell ringing at 6 p.m. See Frazier vs. Ace, Ky Talk returns and is this the end of The Sons? Find out this weekend.
Tickets cost $20 for front row and other tickets, including general admission, $10 to $12 at the door. Ages 10 and under get in for free.

Intro to backpacking at Greenwood Furnace
An Introduction to Backpacking course will be held at Greenwood Furnace State Park, Greenwood Road, Huntingdon, on Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m. Join Park Intern Morgan at the Blacksmith Shop to learn about the various types of gear and instruction on how and what to pack. Participants will have the opportunity to pack a pack and end with an optional hike. Registration is required by Friday. To register, email Morgan at mbintz@pa.gov.
Mifflin County Youth Fair wraps up
The 72nd annual Mifflin County Youth Fair wraps up on Saturday at the Mifflin County Youth Park, 110 W. Logan St., Reedsville. Celebrating 250 years of freedom, family and Pennsylvania fairs.
