Police: Man assaulted wife as she drove
MILROY -- A 28-year-old Milroy man was taken into custody after Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown said he assaulted his wife while she was driving a vehicle.
Police said the incident occurred at 11:46 a.m. Aug. 7 on North Main Street in Armagh Township. According to the report, the 32-year-old woman suffered severe injuries to her eye and lip as well as bruising.
The man was arraigned and held in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
State police investigate eBay theft
MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating an alleged theft involving an eBay transaction.
Police said the incident was reported at 7:47 p.m. Aug. 10 on Laurel Hill Road in Susquehanna Township, Juniata County.
According to police, a 19-year-old Mount Pleasant man reported an unauthorized $87.49 expenditure on eBay.
