McVeytown man charged in Armagh burglary

MILROY -- Pennsylvania State Police charged a McVeytown man in connection with a residential burglary reported Monday in Armagh Township.

According to state police, Jacob Swartz, 28, is accused of burglarizing a residence in the 4900 block of Old U.S. Highway 322 at about 6:50 p.m. Monday. Police said $895 in cash was reported stolen.

The victim was identified as a 19-year-old Reedsville woman. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge 58-3-03.

New York man charged with DUI, drug possession

RICHFIELD -- A Rochester, N.Y., man faces charges after Pennsylvania State Police said he was stopped while driving under the influence of marijuana Sunday night in Monroe Township.

Police said troopers conducted a traffic stop at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday along North Susquehanna Trail and determined the 32-year-old driver, Bryon Gaskin, was impaired. Marijuana was also found inside the vehicle, according to police.

Gaskin was arrested and charged with DUI and drug possession.

Middleburg man charged after domestic incident

MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police charged a 21-year-old Middleburg man following a reported domestic incident late Saturday night in Franklin Township.

Troopers responded to J.C. Mobile Home Court at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday. Police said a 45-year-old Middleburg woman was the victim of harassment involving physical contact.

Charges were filed following the investigation.

Selinsgrove woman cited for public drunkenness

BEAVERTOWN -- A 35-year-old Selinsgrove woman was cited for public drunkenness following an incident late Sunday night in Beavertown.

Pennsylvania State Police said troopers responded to a report of public drunkenness at about 11:53 p.m. Sunday on West Market Street. The woman was issued a non-traffic citation.

Burnham man charged in Snyder County assault

McCLURE -- A Burnham man has been charged in connection with an aggravated assault reported last week in Snyder County.

Pennsylvania State Police said Caylon Winter, 31, was charged following an incident that occurred between 10 a.m. July 31 and 12:30 p.m. at New Lancaster Valley Road and Old Lancaster Valley Road.

Police identified the victim as a 26-year-old McClure man. Three vehicles -- a 2001 Subaru Legacy Outback, a 2012 Nissan Altima and a 2025 Coleman all-terrain vehicle -- were towed from the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
