511PA offers Little League World Series travel information

WILLIAMSPORT -- Motorists traveling to the Little League World Series can access real-time traffic conditions and alternate-route information through a specialized 511PA webpage, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The page provides information for the primary routes into Williamsport, including Routes 15 and 220 and Interstate 80. Travelers can view current travel times for primary and alternate routes as well as traffic incidents, construction, traffic cameras and vehicle speeds.

PennDOT also will post real-time travel information on changeable message signs along primary routes to the event.

Officials advised motorists to prepare for changing traffic patterns, slow-moving or stopped vehicles and increased pedestrian traffic during the series.

Travel information also is available through 511PA, the 511PA mobile app or by calling 511.
