LEWISTOWN -- Farmers across the Juniata River Valley know the pressure of rising input costs all too well, and many are asking the same question as they look toward the next growing season: how do we produce more while spending less?
That challenge will take center stage on Friday, when Adam White hosts a Conklin AgroVantage Field Day at his farm located at 10588 Ferguson Valley Road, Lewistown. The free event, running from 5 to 8 p.m., is designed to give producers a firsthand look at proven crop-management strategies that can help strengthen both yields and profitability.

Unlike classroom presentations or sales-driven seminars, AgroVantage Field Days unfold where results matter most -- in the field. Throughout the growing season, White and other AgroVantage Independent Distributors have managed side-by-side crop comparisons, fertility programs and management trials that demonstrate how nutrient efficiency and soil performance translate into healthier plants and stronger returns.
Friday's event gives farmers the chance to walk those plots, examine root development, evaluate plant health and review treatment data from local growing conditions.
