LEWISTOWN — The pool at Rec Park in Lewistown is turning Saturday into a full-blast summer celebration as the Second Annual Pool Waves and Local Faves splashes in from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year’s mission is big — raising money to bring a brand-new waterslide to the community pool — and organizers are packing the day with non-stop excitement.

Dive into open swim, then head to the courts where vendors, food trucks, kids activities, raffle baskets and local favorites will keep the fun rolling. Rain or shine, it’s a can’t-miss, all-day summer vibe built to support a hometown treasure.

Proceeds of the basket raffle will go towards the cost of the water slide.

One Name Revival at Saddle Club

The One Name Revival will be held Friday through Sunday at the Saddle Club, 255 Lost Creek Road, Mifflintown. Friday’s session will be 6 to 9 p.m., with Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday with a 9 a.m. service. There will be food and drink, kids’ activities, water baptisms, prayer and healing, live worship, multi-church service and a performance by Christian worship band Wander No More on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Husky Open Tennis Tournament

The Husky Open Tennis Tournament will be held Saturday through Tuesday at the Mifflin County High School tennis courts in Lewistown.

Brackets include: Singles for boys 14-under, 18-under and open; and girls 14-under, 18-under and open for $30 per bracket; doubles for boys and girls 14-under and open and mixed open for $50 team per bracket. Gift card and trophy prizes will be awarded.

Make a free sundae

Stop by the Big Valley Antique Center, 47 Auto Auction Circle, Reedsville, to make a free sundae from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be door prizes and a special appearance by Elvis and Priscilla.

Sports Card and TCG Show

The Heritage Volunteer Fire Co., 218 S. Main St., Lewistown will host a Sports Card and TCG Show from 11 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5. In addition to the card show, there will be autographs and photo opportunities with special guest Penn State football stars.
