Local businessman joins Kish Bancorp board

LEWISTOWN -- Mifflin County businessman John Pannizzo has been appointed to the Kish Bancorp Inc. Board of Directors as the company announced five appointments to the leadership boards of both Kish Bancorp and Kish Bank.

Pannizzo joins Jim Foreman, of Blair County, and Michael Krentzman, of Centre County, on the Kish Bancorp Board of Directors. All three have served on the Kish Bank Board of Directors since August 2025.

"We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jim, Michael and John to Kish Bancorp's Board of Directors," Executive Chairman William P. Hayes said in a statement. "They have all served on our Bank Board since August of 2025, and collectively bring extensive institutional knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of the communities we serve."

Kish also announced the appointment of Brandon Zlupko, of Centre County, and Philip Bomberger, of Juniata County, to the Kish Bank Board of Directors, effective immediately.

President and Chief Executive Officer Gregory T. Hayes said the new directors bring fresh perspectives, broad industry experience and a shared commitment to the company's mission.

Zlupko serves as vice president of Highland Holding Group Inc., where he focuses on student housing, hospitality and commercial real estate. A certified public accountant, he spent more than two decades with Baker Tilly US LLP, serving as a partner from 2009 to 2025. He also serves on Kish Bank's Centre County Regional Advisory Board and is active with community organizations throughout Centre and Huntingdon counties. He earned a bachelor's degree from Juniata College.

Bomberger is president of John E. Groninger Inc. and Republic Land and Development Co. and is a partner at Juniata Concrete, now a division of Centre Concrete. He also serves on the board of Juniata Lumber and Supply and holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State University.
