Hospice Butterfly Release July 26 in Kish Park
LEWISTOWN -- VNA Health System and Lewistown Home Health and Hospice: The Bridge invites the public to the 19th annual Hospice Butterfly Release on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Tree of Life Site in Kish Park. A canopy will be set up at the event.
The special event is open to the public to celebrate and remember the lives of loved ones who have passed away, whether they received care through Hospice: The Bridge or another hospice provider.
Live butterflies will be available at the event for a $25 donation per butterfly. All proceeds will benefit the local hospice program and help continue providing compassionate care to patients and families in the community.
Bring a lawn chair for your comfort. Upon entering the Kish Park grounds, look for the Lewistown Home Health and Hospice: The Bridge canopy.

Shea Memorial Farm to Table dinner July 31
BEAVER SPRINGS -- The Shea Memorial Farm to Table dinner will be held Friday, July 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Beaver Community Fairgrounds Veterans Memorial building, 785 Snyder Ave., Beaver Springs. The meal is dine-in or take-out. There will also be a silent auction.
Pre-ordered tickets are required at $25 each. To RSVP, call (570) 658-4963 ext. 0 by July 24. Limited tickets will be available at the door. All proceeds benefit the new livestock building fund.
