REEDSVILLE -- The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 518 will host a bus trip Sept. 19 to the Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, Del.
The trip will depart from the Mifflin County Airport Administration Building in Reedsville at 6 a.m., with a pickup scheduled for 6:30 a.m. at Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church in Mifflintown. The group is expected to return at approximately 9 p.m.
The cost is $40 per person and includes transportation only. Participants are responsible for the cost of meals and other incidental expenses. Organizers plan to make meal and rest stops during the trip based on traffic conditions and the driver's discretion.
The Air Mobility Command Museum is located on the grounds of Dover Air Force Base and preserves the history of military airlift and air mobility operations. The museum features dozens of historic aircraft, a flight simulator, a retired air traffic control tower and exhibits highlighting the history of the U.S. Air Force's Air Mobility Command.
Space is limited to 52 participants, and payment is required at the time of reservation. The bus is handicap accessible.
