CLEARFIELD -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced the following schedule of maintenance activities in Mifflin and Juniata counties the week of June 22.
Mifflin County
Bridge maintenance and cleaning:
• Route 3002 (22 Business) at a bridge spanning Old 22 Road in Granville Township. Wednesday, June 24, through Friday, June 26. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Patching:
• Route 2004 (Green Avenue/Back Maitland Road) between Kishacoquillas Street in Lewistown Borough and MT Spring Lane in Decatur Township. Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Pipe replacement and cleaning:
• Route 333 starting approximately half a mile east of Tower Hill Road and continuing eastbound approximately one-tenth of a mile in Granville Township. Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
• Route 103 between Jones Lane and Ritchey's Lane in Oliver Township. Wednesday, June 24, through Friday, June 26. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Juniata County
Base repair:
• Route 3008 (Groninger Valley Road) between Route 3030 (Spruce Hill Road) in Beale Township and Route 75 in Turbett Township. Monday, June 22, through Wednesday, June 24. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
• All of Route 3028 (McLaughlin Road) in Milford Township. Thursday, June 25, and Friday, June 26. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
Bridge maintenance and cleaning:
• Route 2028 (Goodville Road) at a bridge spanning Dutchman Run approximately five miles East of Salem. PennDOT implemented a detour using Routes 235, 333, and 2017 (Evendale Hill Road).
Pipe replacement and cleaning:
• Route 3014 (McCoysville Road) between Route 850 and Jay's Lane in Tuscarora Township. Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours and may deploy a pilot vehicle.
