The Christian Retreat Center in East Waterford held a ribbon-cutting to open its new pavilion on Friday. This project was made possible through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Neighborhood Assistance Program and the support of generous business partners. The CRC staff, shown here, were present: Elsie Donnelly, Mindy Palm, Wendy Kerstetter, Zach Bashore, Trent Paden and Cheryl Zimmerman. Other dignitaries were also present including Rep. Perry Stambaugh, Juniata County Commissioner Mark Partner, Melissa Tabb from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Lori Comp and John Brenneman from Sen. Judy Ward’s office, CRC board members, friends from the community and the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce and Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau.
