PennDOT driver license, photo centers to close for holiday
YEAGERTOWN– All Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver’s license and photo centers, including the one in Yeagertown, will be closed Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The full-service Driver License Center in Harrisburg and the Pittsburgh Driver License Center at 708 Smithfield St. also will be closed Friday, July 3.
Many driver and vehicle services remain available online 24 hours a day, including driver’s license, photo ID and vehicle registration renewals, address changes, duplicate licenses and IDs, REAL ID pre-verification and driver exam scheduling.
PennDOT also reminded residents that travelers flying domestically must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, a passport or another federally accepted form of identification to board commercial flights.
