The Belleville Lions Club presented a donation of $1,432.94 to the Benevolent Fund at Valley View Retirement Community following a ham sandwich fundraiser held in May. The Benevolent Fund helps ensure residents who have outlived their financial resources can continue receiving lifelong, faith-based care. Nearly 600 sandwiches were sold during the fundraiser thanks to strong community support.
