Members of the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce join the owners, family and supporters of The Carriage House Eatery during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, June 26 at Juniata Valley Winery in Mifflin. The eatery, located at 19175 Route 35 South in Mifflin, offers a menu of freshly prepared meals alongside the winery’s locally produced wines. The business is located on the winery property and is intended to provide visitors with an additional dining option. Chamber members, local officials, family, friends and supporters attended the ceremony to mark the eatery’s opening. ‘The Carriage House Eatery is a wonderful addition to our region’s growing hospitality and tourism industry,’ said Rhonda S. Kelley, executive director of the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Businesses like this not only provide exceptional dining experiences but also help showcase the beauty and charm of the Juniata River Valley, encouraging both residents and visitors to explore everything our communities have to offer.”
