REEDSVILLE — Guitars will ring out, kids will laugh and dance and the smell of festival food will fill the summer air as the Angels from Bigfoot Country Fundraising Event takes over the Mifflin County Youth Park in Reedsville today for a full day of music and family fun.

Running from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the event brings together an all-star lineup of regional musicians along with craft vendors, food stands and a wide variety of attractions for all ages. After last year’s event was completely washed out by seven straight days of rain and flooding, organizers are eager for a strong comeback.

Here’s a glance at the bands scheduled to perform:

Above The Radar

Bringing high-energy rock to the stage, Above The Radar has been entertaining audiences since 2018. The trio, based in Blacklog, Pa., grew out of frontman Steve Todaro’s solo career and now features Todaro on vocals and guitar, Craig Treece on bass and Jesse Sheeder on drums. Known for their tight sound and engaging live shows, they promise a powerful performance to kick off the festival atmosphere.

Beyond the music, the festival offers a full slate of activities. Visitors can browse craft vendors and enjoy a variety of food options, while kids can take part in games, face painting and interactive attractions. Unique additions such as goat therapy, a camping trailer tour and appearances by the Honorary Wrestling Federation add to the day’s appeal.

More than just entertainment, the event serves as a fundraiser supporting charitable efforts connected to Bigfoot Country. Organizers hope the strong lineup and improved weather will bring the community together after last year’s disappointment.
