Season built on heart, harmony, high-octane showmanship
LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin-Juniata Concert Association is turning the 2026-27 season into a full-throttle celebration of musical storytelling, generational talent and genre-bending artistry.
Five national touring acts will take the stage at the auditorium of Mifflin County High School, located at 501 Sixth St., Lewistown, each bringing its own spark, its own flavor, and its own promise of a night audiences won’t soon forget.
The concert association has planned a season that features an impressive array of stars and feels both fresh and familiar, blending nostalgia with innovation and spotlighting artists who know how to connect with a crowd.

The season opens with a jolt of energy as father-son duo Terry and Nick Davies bring their acclaimed show, Piano Men: Generations, to Lewistown. This high-octane, emotionally charged production celebrates the music of Billy Joel and Elton John through two performers who grew up loving the same songs from different eras of their lives.
The result is a one-of-a-kind musical journey that bridges decades. Audiences can expect favorites like “Uptown Girl,” “Only the Good Die Young,” “Rocket Man” and “Tiny Dancer,” delivered with powerhouse vocals, dueling pianos and the kind of chemistry only a father and son can share. It’s a show built on legacy, love of music and the thrill of hearing iconic hits played with fresh fire.
Cellovoci — Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at 7 p.m.

Their program moves effortlessly from lush, romantic arrangements to cinematic pop interpretations. Audiences will hear stirring renditions of “Besame Mucho,” “The Prayer” and even the Eagles classic “Hotel California,” reimagined with soaring vocals and rich cello harmonies. It’s a concert designed to surprise, enchant and showcase the emotional range of three artists who refuse to be boxed into a single genre.
Simply Three — Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, at 7 p.m.
For more than a decade, Simply Three has been redefining what a string trio can be. Violinist Julian Nguyen, bassist Nick Villalobos and cellist Zach Clark bring electrifying stage presence and a modern sensibility to every performance, blending classical musicianship with pop, jazz and cinematic influences.
Their setlist spans Adele to Gershwin, Ed Sheeran to Michael Jackson, all filtered through the trio’s signature style: rhythmic, bold and visually dynamic. Simply Three concerts are known for their emotional punch and their ability to make familiar songs feel brand new. It’s the kind of performance that pulls in audiences of all ages.
The Lubben Brothers — Saturday, March 26, 2027, at 7 p.m.
After the winter break, the season returns with the warm, rootsy sound of The Lubben Brothers. With 14 instruments between them and harmonies only siblings can produce, the brothers have spent their lives crafting an original style steeped in lyrical sensitivity and folk tradition.
Their concerts blend storytelling, musicianship and brotherly banter, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and joyful. Songs like “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Fire and Rain” and “We Don’t Talk Much Any More” highlight their ability to honor classics while adding their own heartfelt touch.
The Dreamboats — Saturday, April 3, 2027, at 3 p.m.
The season closes with a time-traveling burst of rock ‘n roll as The Dreamboats bring back the heartthrob charm and electric energy of the 1950s and early 60s. Inspired by icons like Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, the group delivers a show packed with swagger, nostalgia and irresistible rhythm.
