Regional police release April activity report
BURNHAM — Officers with the Mifflin County Regional Police Department responded to 529 incidents during April, according to monthly statistics released by the department.
Police investigated 12 burglary, theft or fraud incidents, six assaults and 17 motor vehicle crashes during the month. Officers also issued 132 traffic citations, 14 non-traffic citations and 30 warnings.
In addition, officers made nine arrests for suspected driving under the influence during April.
The department serves Burnham Borough, Brown Township, Derry Township and Union Township.
