Meeting to seek input on transportation, air quality plan
STATE COLLEGE — The Centre County Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a public meeting May 13 to gather input on its draft 2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program and related air quality report.
The meeting is scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in a hybrid format at the Centre Region COG Building, 2643 Gateway Drive, State College, and via Zoom. Residents can contact officemanager@crcog.net or call (814) 231-3050 for virtual access details.
The draft plan outlines how federal, state and local funding will be used for road, bridge and transit projects over the next four years. A 30-day public comment period runs through 5 p.m. June 4.
Documents are available online at crcog.net and at several locations throughout Centre County, including libraries and municipal buildings. Comments may be submitted by phone, email, online or at the public meeting.
The CCMPO Coordinating Committee is expected to consider adoption of the plan June 23.
