The Heritage Volunteer Fire Co. will host an open house on Saturday.

LEWISTOWN — With the Fourth of July being the next big holiday, expect much of the upcoming events on the calendar to have at least a taste or a tint of red, white and blue.

The Second Annual Heroes and Harmony Day from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Ag Barn outside of the Port Royal Speedway is one example. Supporting our Heroes of Central Pennsylvania presents the event, which features car and tractor show beginning at 8 a.m., while the kid’s activities — candy scramble, duck game, free giveaways and more — start at 10 a.m.

There will also be vendors, Chinese auction, food trucks and food stands. Live music from Hillbilly Diesel and special guest Strongman Skyler Foster. Plus, don’t miss the Big Ticket Raffle: 4 seater electric golf cart and 3 cash prizes at $10 a chance.
