Scouts from Troop 106 of Lewistown raise a flag in front of the Mifflin County Courthouse on Monday as part of The Light to Unite: Flags Across the Commonwealth, a statewide initiative to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The same three flags travel from county to county until they have flown over all 67 Pennsylvania counties. The scouts were joined by the Mifflin County Sheriff’s Department, which partnered with the Juniata Valley Council of Scouting America to hold the ceremonies in the five-county region.
