Recognizing grief
East Juniata High School students were recognized Tuesday as finalists for the Central Pennsylvania region of the Highmark Caring Place poster contest held in honor of Children’s Grief Awareness Day – Nov. 19. The students created posters to educate the public on childhood grief under the direction of East Juniata High School art teacher Tina Kerstetter. Pictured are, far left, Brenda Schultz, school services coordinator and clinical services specialist, who presented certificates to students along with Barry Sloane, far right, also a school services coordinator and clinical services specialist.
