MIFFLINTOWN — The Juniata Valley Bank has promoted Kelly Mayes to VP/Community Market Manager at Juniata Valley Bank.

Mayes began her banking career with JVB 12 years ago in 2014, as a customer service representative at the Gardenview branch in Reedsville. Shortly after, she became a consumer loan analyst at operations. In 2016, she returned to the Gardenview branch as the assistant office manager and community office manager III. In 2023, Mayes was awarded the title of AVP and was promoted to community office manager III and relationship manager. Most recently in March of 2026, she was promoted to vice president community market manager. Mayes will be a key part in the new Belleville branch location, set to open in July of 2026.

Mayes graduated from Lock Haven University in 2013, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Management. She also completed the PBS Advanced School of Banking in 2020.

Mayes resides in Reedsville with her husband, Nathan. They are proud parents of two sons, Mack and Walker. Outside of the workplace, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending her children’s sporting events, and spending time outdoors.
