UNIVERSITY PARK — Fun and nutritious entertaining ideas will be offered by Penn State Extension educators during a webinar titled “Let’s Cook at Home: Charcuterie Boards.” The event will be Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Charcuterie boards can make for a fun family meal or a creative appetizer, according to organizers. During the event, educators from Penn State Extension’s Food, Families and Health Unit will prepare a delicious charcuterie board, inviting participants to discover a new recipe.

The webinar will cover:

— The basic components of a charcuterie board.

— Tips and recipe ideas to create a healthy charcuterie board for entertaining.

— Ideas for making a charcuterie board a healthful addition to any spread.

Participants can register for the event through May 1. Registration, which includes a $10 fee, is required to receive the link to access the webinar. Registrants also will receive access to the webinar recording.
