Valley View appoints executive director of memory services

Geli Losch

BELLEVILLE — Valley View Retirement Community is pleased to announce the appointment of Geli Losch as executive director of memory services and community impact, a newly created leadership role designed to strengthen memory support services on campus while expanding outreach and education throughout the greater community.

“We are excited to see Geli bring this breadth of experience as she partners with those already serving in Memory Lane and helps guide the opening of Memory Personal Care this summer,” CEO Nicole Sarver said.

For more than six years, Losch has served Valley View as senior director of resident services. Prior to joining Valley View, Losch served as executive director of a secure dementia care facility in the Harrisburg area. She has facilitated caregiver support groups, built strong partnerships with Area Agencies on Aging, and played a key role in securing grant funding for community-based services.

In her new role, Losch will champion Valley View’s memory support campus initiatives while also serving as a visible and engaged ambassador in the broader community. Her work will include providing dementia education and information sessions, collaborating with local businesses and organizations, and helping advance efforts toward a more dementia-friendly region. These initiatives will support individuals living with dementia at home, along with the caregivers who walk alongside them.

“Every person deserves a life filled with purpose and meaning, whether they are living with dementia or not,” Losch added. “At the same time, providing respite for caregivers and advancing research and brain health are essential to preserving what this disease threatens to take away. It is both our responsibility and our privilege to make sure no one walks this path alone.”

Losch will officially transition into her new role the week of Feb. 16, 2026, with a brief transition period to ensure continuity of care and leadership.

Starting at $2.99/week.
