Inmate charged with possession of controlled substances
LEWISTOWN -- A 27-year-old inmate at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown was charged with possession of a controlled substance after an incident at 2 p.m. on April 8, according to a release issued for Lewistown Police Department officers on Friday. The jail staff received a tip that Devian Jimenez-Rounds was in possession of drugs inside the jail, the report said. He failed a drug screening test and staff conducted a search of his cell where they found buprenorphine strips inside his clothing, the report said.
