Three cited for dumpster diving
MIFFLINTOWN -- Three individuals were cited for trespassing on Thursday, Dec. 25, at Abundant Blessings.
According to the report a manager contacted the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown around 1 a.m. to report these individuals.
Officers located John Hockenberry, 49, of Port Royal, Roxanne Hockenberry, 44, of Mifflintown and Jade Simmerman, 45, of Port Royal who were found inside of the dumpster at this location.
Two cited in December crash
MILROY -- Two drivers were cited after a vehicle crash on Monday, Dec. 15 that occurred at around 4 p.m.
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the scene of Sigler Street, where Kaleb Sisson, 22, and Travis Dobson, 29, both of Milroy were transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for possible injuries.
According to the report, Sisson was driving a 2020 Ford Truck traveling East on Sigler Street and began to slide in the snow. Police said the vehicle began to take up both lanes of travel when Dobson, who was driving a Ram 2500 truck west on Sigler Street, could not avoid the collision.
Both individuals had suspected back injuries and were transported by Milroy EMS.
Sisson was cited for his actions in the accident and Dobson was cited for an expired registration.
Woman faces strangulation charge
THOMPSONTOWN -- A 24-year-old Thompsontown woman was cited for strangulation after Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown responded to an active domestic dispute on Monday, Dec. 1 around 1:30 p.m.
According to the report, officers said a physical altercation had occurred between the woman and a 27-year-old Thompsontown man.
