Smokey Hollow Road bridge to close May 28
HONEY GROVE -- A bridge along Smokey Hollow Road (Route 3018) in Tuscarora Township, Juniata County, is expected to close on Tuesday, May 28.
According to PennDOT Juniata Maintenance forces will complete a bridge restoration project on a structure spanning Union Run, about a mile northeast of East Waterford, that will improve its condition rating from poor to good. While the bridge is closed, traffic will follow a detour using Middle Road (Route 850) and Tuscarora Valley Road (Route 75). PennDOT anticipates reopening the bridge in late July. All work is weather dependent.
