Police investigate stolen bikes, truck
MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded to a report of theft on Friday, April 12 around 9:30 a.m. at a location on Middle Road where it was reported that six dirt bikes and a Ford F150 Pickup truck were stolen.
According to the report, the theft took place between Thursday, April 11 around 8 p.m. and Friday, April 12 around 6 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
Two vehicles damaged when cover blows off truck bed
PORT ROYAL -- On Monday around 3:30 p.m., officers from the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a two-vehicle crash on US Highway 322, Walker Township.
The report states that a 2022 Toyota Tacoma and a 2021 Ford F250 were traveling west on US 322 when the tonneau cover blew off the Toyota Tacoma and the Ford was unable to avoid the collision with the cover.
Both vehicles sustained minor damages but were driven from the scene. Both operators of the vehicles were wearing their seatbelt and reported no injuries.
McClure driver strikes cow with vehicle
BEAVER SPRINGS -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded to single-vehicle crash on Thursday, April 18 around 6:30 a.m. on Sandhill Road where it was reported that a vehicle collided with a cow that was out of its containment area along with multiple other cows who were walking on the roadway.
According to the report, the 2016 Dodge Journey, operated by Amber Baker, 25, of McClure, was traveling east on Sand Hill Road, the cow began to run as the vehicle approached, the cow collided with it while the driver was attempting to pass.
