Police investigate harassment via text
LEWISTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a harassment report on Wednesday, March 20 at a residence on Bossinger Road, Bratton Township.
According to the report, an unnamed 17-year-old female of Lewistown was receiving text messages and emails on Tuesday, March 19 from 2 a.m until the time officers came on Wednesday.
Police have a suspect and continue to investigate the incident.
No injuries in crash involving large truck
MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a two-vehicle crash at about 6:30 p.m. Monday on state Route 104, Center Township.
The report states that a 2018 Kia Stinger driven by 76-year-old Dorothy Furgison, of Mifflinburg, was traveling southbound on state Route 104, just south of its intersection with Shambach Road when it exited the right side of the roadway, striking a Verizon utility pole, then proceeding to rotate in a clockwise direction before coming to its position of final rest facing north bound when a 2000 Western Star driven by 65-year-old Andrew Wagaman, of Bendersville, was traveling behind the Kia caught the low hanging wires and pulled them off the utility pole.
The report says Furgison and Wagmane were both wearing their seatbelts and neither sustained injuries.
The Kia sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Karm's Towing.
The truck sustained functional damage to its passenger side exhaust and roof vent of the trailer.
Vehicle vandalism reported in Fermanagh Township
MIFFLINTOWN -- On Saturday, March 9 around
2 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to Manbeck Drive, Fermanagh Township where a 40 year old Lewistown man reported vandalism of a 2017 Ford.
The report states that the victim decided to handle the incident civilly and declined prosecution.
Man cited for disorderly conduct
MIFFLINTOWN -- According to a report, officers from Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown cited 21-year-old Delvin Martin, of Shippensburg, who was reportedly shooting off bottle rockets on Swamp Road, Walker Township. The incident occurred Sunday. The report states that a 2003 Volkeswagen was involved.
