Man faces drug possession charges
PORT ROYAL -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Lions Club Park Road, Milford Township, on Tuesday, March 26 around 9:30 a.m.
According to the report, a 20-year-old New Cumberland man was operating the vehicle and officers noted that they observed criminal activity and decided to tow the vehicle back to the police station where a search warrant was conducted and drug paraphernalia was found as well as an open alcohol container located inside the vehicle.
Troopers are still investigating.
One injured in Fermanagh Township crash
MIFFLINTOWN -- According to a report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown, 2008 Ford F-150XLT was traveling north on state Route 35 in the north bound lane at its intersection with South Seventh Street, Fermanagh Township, when the operator, Randy Freet, 58, of Honey Grove, left the roadway and struck a traffic sign and utility pole. The incident occurred at about 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7.
Police said the truck sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. The report says Freet and the passenger, 22-year-old Hunter A. Frantz, of Richfield, were both wearing seatbelts. Freet was transported to the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for an evaluation.
Police seek information in harassment
McALISTERVILLE -- On Thursday, April 5 around 10 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown investigated a report of harassment that took place at the Dollar General on Route 35 north, Fayette Township.
It was reported that an unknown person was calling into the store and harassing an employee.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Two cited for harassment
MILROY -- Officers from the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were contacted Sunday, April 7 around 12:30 a.m. regarding a harassment incident that took place on Lower Creek Road, Armagh Township.
According to the report, two unnamed individuals were texting and calling each other multiple times with the intent to aggravate the other as stated in the report.
Both individuals -- including a 38-year-old Lewistown man and 34-year-old Lewistown woman were cited.
