MEXICO - Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating the theft of $2,000 from Jamie Arnold, 37, of Mexico, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Thursday. Arnold told police the money was stolen from her apartment, located at 6798 William Penn Highway in Walker Township, the report said.
Thompsontown man charged after
refusing to leave place of employment
THOMPSONTOWN - A Mifflintown man was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown on 4:34 p.m. Thursday after refusing to leave his place of employment in Thompsontown, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Thursday. Police were dispatched when John Esh, 47, allegedly acted defiantly during a trespass incident at Cabinet Works Group, 12393 William Penn Highway in Delaware Township, the report said. Police said Esh was employed at the location and was asked to leave. He refused to leave, police said, and was taken into custody, police said, and was later charged by Magisterial District Judge Tracy L. Powell.

flees in hit and run accident
BLOOMFIELD - Pennsylvania State Police at Newport are investigating a two-vehicle accident in Bloomfield involving a McAlisterville man and another driver who fled the scene, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Friday. Jon G. Livingston, 66, was driving a 1995 Ford F-150 XLT when he was in an accident with Deborah S. Noble, 63, of New Bloomfield, who was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Spark, police said. Police were dispatched after a call for a hit and run at 4:06 p.m. on Thursday and, after investigation found minor paint transfer and no injuries, the report said. Noble fled the scene, police said, while Livingston was able to drive his vehicle under its own power. He was wearing a seat belt, the report said, and was not injured.
