Mifflin County Swap Meet: Swap meet for orphan cars and antique toys from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Mifflin County York Park, 110 E. Logan St., Reedsville. Car show plus plenty of old car parts and toys. Corkins Café will be on site, serving up delicious bits, and plenty of vendors. Free parking. Open House at New Lancaster Valley Fire Co.: Join fire company, 3712 New Lancaster Valley Road, Milroy, for open house, 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Members will show you around and talk about volunteering. Bring kids to check out fire trucks and get photos taken with rigs. Coffee and donuts served.
Family fun
Family Art Fest at LUMINA Center: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, 18 E. Third St., Lewistown. Bring the whole family to create all kinds of art together.
Family Fishing Fun! 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Poe Valley State Park, 136 Poe Valley State Park, Coburn. Program is for families and individuals with little to no fishing experience. Program is free and equipment provided. Registration required in person or online at www.dcnr.pa.gov/event/family-fishing-fun.
Ghost Town: 7:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Greenwood Furnace State Park, 15795 Greenwood Road, Huntingdon. Historical walking tour of the park. Learn about a village built around inferno and find out what happened when the furnace fell silent, and Greenwood turned into a ghost town. Walk mostly on flat land around historic district including cemetery. Meet at blacksmith shop and bring a flashlight. Rain or shine. Free. No registration required. Find them on Facebook.
Food and festivals
All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet: 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Richfield United Church of Christ, 44 Church St., Richfield. Menu includes ham, scrambled eggs, hash brown potato casserole, pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits, toast, applesauce, donuts, juice, coffee and tea. $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children under 6.
Juniata Valley Winery Wine Festival: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Juniata Valley Winery, 19175 Route 35 South, Mifflin. Wine, food trucks, vendors and live music. 'Hello, Dolly!' at Mount Union Area High School
Starting today, Mount Union Area High School presents "Hello, Dolly!" 7 to 10 p.m. through Saturday, Mount Union Area High School, 706 N. Shaver St., Mount Union. Production presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC. Music and lyrics by Jerry Herman. Book by Michael Stewart. Based on play "The Matchmaker" by Thornton Wilder. Original production directed and choreographed by Gower Champion. $5 for students and $8 for adults.
