MIFFLINTOWN -- Juniata County Commissioners approved of a submission from the county's Probation and Parole office for the Juniata County Intermediate Punishment Funds grant application for the project period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 as recommended by Michelle Beaver, Chief Probation Officer during the board's Tuesday meeting.
The board also approved a Project Modification
Request for the 2023-24 year for the Juniata County Intermediate Punishment Funds grant.
In other news, commissioners took the following actions:
• Approved the Certification Statement – County Children & Youth Social Service Programs for the period of Jan. 1 through March 31, as submitted by the Children & Youth Fiscal Department;
• Approved the tax exonerations for Mifflintown Borough as per the material provided;.
There will not be a Commissioners' meeting on April 23 due to the primary election.
