April’s meeting is the silent auction to benefit the Mifflin County PASR Chapter’s scholarship fund. Bring an auction item. Menu: coleslaw, beef tips in gravy, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussel sprouts, rolls/butter, apple pie. Cost is $14. •Free gardening workshop: Tuesday, April 9 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Body and Soul Community Center, Strodes Mills. Discussions will be about using compost and mulches in the garden, tips on feeding plants at each stage of growth, planting transplants, planting guides for April and there will be time allotted for sharing transplants.
