Two vehicles damaged in crash
THOMPSONTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 on East Main Street.
According to the report, a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado was backing across the roadway and struck an unoccupied 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt.
According to the report, the unnamed driver of the Silverado said he was in a rush and didn't see the parked vehicle behind him. The driver was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured during the crash.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.
The driver of the Silverado which was not provided in the report was cited accordingly.
Man charged with assaulting 2
REEDSVILLE -- It was reported that Nathan Goss, 46, of Reedsville, was charged with simple assault and possession of paraphernalia after Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a physical domestic report on Friday, Dec. 8 around 1 a.m. on Duchess Street, Armagh Township.
According to the report, Goss was engaged in a domestic dispute with two females, ages 40 and 63.
Police respond to fraud
MIFFLINTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the Juniata County Courthouse on Monday, Nov. 20 where an incident occurred involving unknown actors attempting to cash fraudulent checks from the Commissioners Office of Juniata County bank account.
Woman jailed for trespassing
LEWISTOWN -- Officers from the Lewistown Police Department responded to the laundromat on South Dorcas Street on Monday, Jan. 22 around 3:30 p.m. where it was reported that a woman was inside yelling at customers. Officers encountered Alisa Buffington, who was advised to leave the premises as requested by the property owner.
Buffington refused and was taken to Mifflin County Correctional Facility on trespassing charges
Police investigating trespass
McALISTERVILLE -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a possible trespass on Sunday, Jan. 28 around 2 p.m. on Westfall Street, Fayette Township.
According to the report, it was determined that a verbal argument had occurred. The incident is being investigated.
No injuries sustained in crash
McALISTERVILLE -- On Friday, Feb. 2 around 5 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a vehicle crash on Tennis Park Road, Fayette Township.
According to the report, a 1997 Ford F150 driven by 39-year-old Eric Cluck, was traveling north on Tennis Park Road toward Fairview Road when he lost control while negotiating a right curve in the roadway. The Ford traveled off the left side of the roadway and hit a house before coming to its final rest.
Cluck refused transport for suspected minor injuries. The house sustained damage.
Two cited for harassment
McCLURE -- Citations were filed against two unnamed 31-year-old men -- one from McClure and one from East Waterford -- for harassment with physical contact according to a report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown.
This incident occurred on Saturday, Feb. 3 around 1 a.m on Crestwood Lane, Decatur Township.
