Teen faces disorderly conduct charges
MIFFLIN -- A 14-year-old Beavertown resident was cited with disorderly conduct following an incident at Soaring Heights School, Milford Township.
According to the report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown, the incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Monday. No further information was reported.
Three injured in Middleburg crash
MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove at about 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, responded to a vehicle crash on Bucksey Road, Center Township.
According to the report, a 2011 Ford Ranger driven by an unnamed 16-year-old of Middleburg was traveling south when the driver lost control and traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturning multiple times.
Police said the driver removed the vehicle from the crash scene to private property and failed to report the crash.
Police said no one in the vehicle, including the driver and passenger, a 17-year-old Middleburg man and Hunter Frits, 18 of Mifflinburg, sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
Woman injured in McClure crash
McCLURE -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded to a one-vehicle crash at about 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, on Fairview Drive, West Beaver Township.
According to the report, a 2013 Dodge Caravan driven by 49-year-old Karen Ewing, of McClure, was traveling west on Fairview Road when the vehicle exited the roadway near the apex of a left curve in the roadway.
Police said the vehicle continued forward along the shoulder until it struck a drainage culvert with the front area of the vehicle, coming to its final position of rest.
Ewing was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for suspected serious injury. She was cited for the crash.
Injuries sustained in vehicle rollover
MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, to a vehicle crash on White Top Road, Washington Township.
According to the report, a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit driven by 21-year-old Michael Gresh, of Middleburg, was traveling west when he lost control of the vehicle after negotiating a left curve. The vehicle began to spin in a counter clockwise direction, traveling off the north side of the roadway and descending a grass covered incline. The left of Gresh's vehicle struck a tree stump, and the vehicle proceeded to overturn, rolling down an embankment before finally coming to rest on its tires facing northwest.
Gresh made contact with a neighbor while at the scene and was transported himself to Geisinger Medical Center for minor injuries.
No injuries sustained when vehicle struck utility pole
MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded to a vehicle crash at about 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, on Route 104, just north of Shambach Road, Center Township.
It was reported that a 2007 Dodge Edge driven by 19-year-old Arnold Troup, of Mifflinburg, was traveling north when the driver exited the east side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Troup's vehicle ascended and struck a utility pole head on before coming to final rest on the embankment facing north.
Police said Troup was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. Troup was cited for the incident.
