COCOLAMUS -- It's not every day you can dine with the cast of "Wonka" for breakfast, but today happens to be one of those days.
Of course, this is the cast of the East Juniata High School theater program, and not the Timothée Chalamet version.
From 9 to 11 a.m. today at the high school, the theater program will hold an East Juniata Theater Character Breakfast.
Enjoy a catered breakfast from IHOP, while characters from the upcoming school production of "Wonka" visit your table. The cost is $12 for adults and $10 for kids, which includes a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage links and pancakes.
There will also be a character mix and mingle, along with fun family activities. Tons of costumed characters from "Wonka" will be present, including Mr. Willy Wonka himself who will read a story.
The cast of "Wonka" includes Ian Strawser (Willy Wonka), Nine Malocu (Charlie Bucket), Rebekah Ehrisman (Mrs. Gloop), Addison Benner (Violet Beauregarde), Addison Dimm (Mrs. Beauregarde), Abigail "Max" Hughes (Mike Teavee) and Katelyn Dietz (Veruca Salt).
Famous Wonka bars will also be for sale for $6, with golden tickets --free tickets to the show -- randomly hidden in some of the bars.
Tickets can be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the event benefit the East Juniata High School theater program.
"Wonka" opens Thursday, Feb. 29 at 7 p.m. and runs through March 3, with shows at 7 p.m. March 1 and 2 and 3 p.m. March 3.
