Harassment charges filed against two

McVEYTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were dispatched to a residence on US Highway 522 South, Wayne Township at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 2 for a complaint of a domestic dispute. According to the report, harassment charges were filed against 48-year-old Sean Smith, of McVeytown, and 54-year-old Scott Smith, of Mount Union.

Police investigate criminal mischief

MIFFLINTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report of criminal mischief on Saturday, Dec. 16 at a residence on William Penn Highway, Fermanagh Township.

The report states that an unknown individual cut the valve stems off of two singular tires of two separate trucks, a 2016 GM and a 1991 Ford. The incident is under investigation.

Lewistown woman arrested for 'trashing' home

BEAVER SPRINGS -- officers from Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded at about 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, to a domestic dispute at a Spring Township residence on state Route 235.

The report states that an unnamed 39-year-old Lewistown woman "trashed" 33-year-old Beaver Springs man's dining room and kitchen and put cigarettes out on his coffee table.

This report also states that she threatened him before fleeing the scene. Officers witnessed these actions and filed summary charges with Magisterial District Judge Bo D. Trawitz.

Police investigating Christmas burglary

MIDDLEBURG -- Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove are investigating a burglary that occurred at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 25, at a home on Bergey Road, Center Township.

The report states that inside the residence there were miscellaneous items thrown on the ground and furniture knocked over.
