Notice filed in 911 hangup
MIFFLINTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a 911 hang-up call at about 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, on Jefferson Street.
During the officers' investigation, they reported that an alleged domestic related assault had occurred between a 32-year-old man and 24-year-old woman.
The report states that a notice to comply was filed.
Police investigate cell phone theft
MIFFLINTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the report of a theft on Friday, Nov. 24 that took place between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
According to the report, a cell phone was stolen from the vehicle of a 59-year-old Lewistown man. The investigation is ongoing.
Altercation results in charges against father, son
McVEYTOWN -- Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, to a residence on Jacks Mountain Road.
Once on scene, officers discovered that a father and son, 36 and 17, got into a physical altercation and both parties were charged through the proper Magisterial District Judge.
