Mifflin County officials reorganize

LEWISTOWN -- A new term of county government commenced on Tuesday, and the Board of Commissioners of Mifflin County approved a slate of officers at its public meeting.
Robert Postal Jr. was selected to serve as the chair of the new board. Fellow returning board member Kevin Kodish was named vice chair, and new board member Noah Wise was selected as secretary.
"I am honored that my colleagues had the confidence in me to select me as the chair," Postal said. "I am excited to begin another term of service. Being a commissioner is truly a commitment to serve and uplift the community you represent."
Starting his fourth term in office, Kodish looks forward to continuing working with others to enhance the county.
"I know this Board will listen to the needs of our constituents, communicate effectively, and act with purpose. Together, we can build a county that thrives on collaboration and understanding," Kodish said.
Following eight years on the Mifflin County School Board, Wise brings a fresh outlook to the Board in 2024.
"In the realm of public service, every decision you make has the power to positively impact lives. I know our Board will approach our roles with integrity and dedication," Wise said. "We want to inspire unity, progress, and a brighter future for our county."
