Kish to host student and industry networking event
REEDSVILLE -- Advance Central PA, the workforce development board serving nine counties, in partnership with Kish Bank, is offering new student and industry networking opportunities taking place in January at the Kish Innovation Center in Reedsville.
Through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry's competitive Business Education Partnership grant, Advance Central PA aims to increase student, parent, and educator awareness of local businesses and career opportunities in Central PA through deep dive networking events. Dinner and dessert with Kish Bank allows a small group of high school students, along with their parents or guardians, to connect with local professionals, hear inspiring career success stories, understand existing talent needs, and learn about career opportunities and pathways.
Kish Bank's team members represent a variety of occupations within the bank, including IT and systems, facilities and management will provide presentations to help students and their families to leave the event with an understanding of what it takes to run a bank along with the diverse career options in the field.
This event will be held at the Kish Innovation Center on Wednesday, Jan.10. Parents and students can register to attend this event at the following link: bit.ly/492dQK8.
