Teenage male cited for domestic dispute
MIFFLINTOWN - Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown investigated a domestic dispute at 7:26 p.m. Friday at Center Road, Walker Township and filed charges of harassment against an unidentified 18-year-old male from Mifflintown, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Saturday. The victim was an unidentified 46-year-old male from Mifflintown. Police said during the altercation, there was physical contact.
Package taken from Mifflintown home
MIFFLINTOWN - David Britcher, 45, of Mifflintown, reported to Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown that a package containing a Transformers toy was taken from his residence around 7 a.m. on Nov. 3, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Saturday. The stolen property was valued at $350, the report said. State police are continuing to investigate the incident and encourage anyone with information to call (717) 320-1010.
Store employees thwart shoplifter
LEWISTOWN - At 2:14 p.m. on Nov. 21, troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were dispatched to Wilson's Meats and Groceries in Juniata Terrace for a report of retail theft, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Friday. The report said store employees confronted Denise Patton, 52, of Lewistown, and recovered the merchandise. Police said, Patton fled the scene prior to their arrival, but she has been cited through district court. The items included a pie, meat sticks and cookies, valued at a combined $9.19, police said.
